Classes and Workshops
The goal here is to have fun, explore, create and collaborate and so for our first month we have created a program of one off classes, although they may repeat from week to week.
For classes that repeat each week a different medium or craft will be taught to keep it new and exciting.
Classes and Workshops here are varied for different levels but most are for all levels and all ages 7-120. If a class is for adults only it will say that in the title and if its for intermediate or advanced it will say that in the title as well.

Mixed Media Creations for ages 7-13 (5 Weeks Starting Wed. July 10- August 7, 2024 10am-12pm)
Come and discover how to use multiple mediums and experiment with how to layer them to create dynamic pieces of art. We will explore acrylic inks, watercolors, paint markers, mark making, and collage design and over the course of the 5 weeks you will create multiple experimental pieces and the final day you will create a final piece that uses all the mediums. All material provided.

Creative Flow- Fluid Art Making- 5 week course for ages 13+ July 10-Aug.7 6pm-8pm
Come and explore the variety of fluid mediums and learn different techniques that will allow you to be playful and loose.
Andrea will guide you through various methods with each medium so you can get the feel of how they work and let you experiment with them to see what is possible.
Week 1- Wet on Wet Watercolors and Ink
Week 2- Acrylic Inks
Week 3- Alcohol Inks
Week 4- Layering with Multiple Mediums
Week 5- Bringing it All Together

Exploring the Art of Design- A 5 week class July 12- August 9 10am-12pm Ages 13+
Embark on a creative journey delving into the principles of art with our 'Exploring the Art of Design' class. Unleash your inner artist as you experiment, play, and create using the principles of art in this dynamic 6-week course.
We will explore, visual movement, unity, harmony, variety, balance, contrast, proportion and rhythm and create a mini portfolio with each element as a focus.
Join us to ignite your passion for design and watch your artistic skills flourish!
Figure Drawing
Come and explore figure drawing from a live nude model. This is a time to sketch and discover the fluidity of figure drawing. This is not an instructional class but Andrea will be here to support you and your questions and lightly guide beginners. Bring your own sketch pad or a pad of newsprint, drawing pencils, and/or charcoal. There are plenty of table easels and a few standing easels available as well as folding chairs or backed stools on wheels if you choose to sit.

Come with a friend, partner or family member and let your fun silly side out to play as you draw each other’s portraits.

This 5 hour workshop takes Zenful Creations to the next level. It’s a mix of meditation, journalling and playing with images that come to you and layering them together with multiple mediums on a 16x20 canvas. Bring lunch, a pillow and a blanket- all materials and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided.
